Implement quality management and push forward the resumption of work

To further strengthen the foundation for quality management, DSIC has carried out the Propaganda Month of "Quality Promotion" in March with the theme of "preventing the pandemic COVID-19 with all efforts along with pushing forward the production and coordinating efforts in quality management” in order to make staff be aware of the quality situation, instill the quality concept, improve the quality awareness, and provide solid foundation for fulfilling the production target in the year of 2020.  

The Quality Guarantee Department/Quality Inspection Department compiled the "DSIC Quality Issue Double Five-Return-to-Zero Training Courseware", which clarifies the scope of "returning to zero", working procedure and passing criteria, and requires each unit to carry out the training in accordance with the Courseware, to ensure that there is no blind area for quality control, feedback as required, improve the control mechanism on quality issue, and ensure that the volume of existing quality issues is reduced, and volume of new quality issues is controlled. The Second Dock Department focuses on stipulation of project quality planning, improves continuously the product quality, and meanwhile gives play to the role of party members by establishing a Party Member Task Force. It requires each level of inspector to check the Reporting for Inspection Procedurein accordance with the process requirements and carries out properly the self-inspection and internal inspection before reporting for inspection. As a result, it has improved the one-time passing rate.

 

The First Military Product Department and Second Military Product Department push forward effectively the operation of Three-Level Supervisory and Management System. As to key projects, they have mobilized more field supervisors, increased the frequency of patrol inspection, assigned responsible individuals for each grids of the network and clarified their responsibilities, implemented properly the quality responsibility system, and made sure that "who carries out the work, who should be responsible", "who inspects, who should be responsible", so that "the quality confirmation system" and "quality grid management" could achieve the expected effects.

 

The Second Dock Department has carried out the Quality Knowledge Prize Q&A Contest, and staff could participate the Q&A by scanning a QR code.

 

The Water Transportation Department, Inspection and Calibration Center has strengthened the refined management through break-down training for each team, and implemented working requirements on refined quality management.

 

The Outfitting Workshop has innovated the exam form of quality training. Under the precondition of satisfying the requirements on pandemic control, the Outfitting Workshop has promoted actively the quality awareness and working capability.

 

The Painting Workshop, Block Manufacture, and Production Guarantee Department gave instructions on site supervision and management, work out details on equipment overhaul. They retained photos on key processes for confirmation to ensure quality stability, and prevent and control actively quality risks during the construction.

 

The Steel Structure Company has carried out "Job Training and NDT Knowledge Contest" to improve the professional quality of NDT staff, and stimulate staff's enthusiasm in study, and create the learning atmosphere of "compete, learn, catch up and surpass", and push forward the "advantage and confidence" in taking new businesses.
